Four years of kettle inspections have clearly shown that high velocity furnaces produce less extensive corrosion impact on kettles and are less accident prone than other available technologies. Although lower readings remain quite similar over time and production, the distribution of heat is evidently more beneficial to the corrosion trends, indicating a more efficient way of heating the entire kettle.
